Ashish Suri
"Pinpoint sharp comedy"
Sharp jokes.
Witty observations.
Mild existential damage.
Ashish has performed across the UK and internationally, with credits including the BBC New Comedy Awards, LadBible and a solo show at Soho Theatre, London. He was nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, won the Panel Prize at the Beat the Frog World Series, and has built a growing online audience with over 30 million views across social media.
His comedy blends cultural insight, playful honesty, immigrant life, relationships and the everyday mess of being alive. He lives and breathes stand-up comedy, building his own work while supporting grassroots comedy and staying closely connected to the communities around clubs including Backyard Comedy, Camden Comedy and Big Belly Comedy.
Ashish’s journey in the UK started as a student, but quickly led him to stand-up comedy in search of a cheap substitute for therapy and a lack of social life. Now based in London, he tells stories about identity, anxiety, relationships and the everyday chaos of trying to make sense of Britain.
